Continued: Paints and Eyeshadow

I use MAC paints when I want my eyeshadow to stay for a long time. Sometimes when I'm in a rush, I don't end up using it. This particular one is Bare Canvas paint.
-

Apply all over lid as shown. Don't worry if you think it's a bit messy. Just blend it in well. I usually use my fingertips to do this, but if you have a different coloured paint (they have darker ones, etc) you can use a brush if it's too messy for you.
-

Tadaa, this is my neutral palette. I use this palette most often compared to the other two 15-palettes I own (those ones have the more colourful eyeshadows). For this application, I chose Ricepaper for the base (3rd top), Gleam for the lid (5th middle), Honesty for the crease (4th bottom), and Tempting for the Outer V (2nd top)
-

Use your 224 brush to apply Ricepaper e/s all over the entire lid.
-

Next, it's time to add some Gleam eyeshadow to your lid.
-

Use your 224 brush again to apply Gleam e/s onto lid, but only up to your crease. With your brush, go a bit above your crease to blend Ricepaper and Gleam together.
-

Take a large shadow brush, and applyu Gleam e/s more densely onto your lid up to the crease again. Blend well.
-

Take your 213 brush and load it up with Honesty e/s.
-

Apply Honesty e/s onto your crease. I usually keep my eye open so that I can define my crease better (this probably works best for those with small crease lids such as mine). Close your eye, take the 224 brush and with a windshield-wiper motion, go back and forth over your crease in order to blend the eyeshadow.
-

This is how that step usually ends up for me. Don't worry if you can't see much on the outer edge. That will be taken care of with the next eyeshadow colour!
-

Take your 213 brush and load it with Tempting e/s. Close your eye and stay as close to your lashline as possible. Only do the outer corner!
-

Go up to the ouside corner of your crease with Tempting e/s. Connect that with what you did with the previous step. Some people refer to this as "creating the outer v". Think of it as making the letter V but horizontally! (< and >)
